Acharya Shree KundKund Jivan Yatra |
Acharya Shree KundKund Jivan (Life) Yatra (Journey) was originally written in Kannada by MB Patil (of Sedval), Translated into Gujarati by Prasham Modi (Songhad) and into Hindi by Br. Yashpal Jain.
This book contains a great amount of detail that was not generally well known about the history of our greatest Acharya (ascetic, sage) - Shree Kundkund Acharya.
Shree Kundkund Acharya's name comes 3rd in the Auspicious Mangal Acharan sutra, directly after Mahavir Bhagwan and Gautam Gandhar. To give an idea of the intellect and piety of this great sage, KundKund Acharya, has not just been worshipped by ordinary monks and householders, but also by other Acharyas over the last 2000 years.
Works of KundKund Acharya include Samaysar, Niyamsar, Pravachansar, Punch-Aastikaai Sangrah, AshtPahud, etc..
Acharya Shree Kundkund Jivan Yatra has been vividly and beautifully illustrated using language such that the reader can visualise the events as if they were taking place in front of them. The book details Kundkund Acharya's previous life when he was a shepherd and also his life as Kundkund Acharya. This book is a must read for all Jains

Moksh Marg Prakashak - Illuminator of the Path of Liberation
|
Illuminator of the Path of Liberation by Pandit Shree Todarmalji written about 1750AD, is considered to be one of the most comprehensive and wide-ranging analysis of Jainism. This text provides an ANALYTICAL description of, the nature of unhappiness, its causes (believing self to be non-self, e.g. body, passions, etc.), identification of solution (understanding difference between self and non-self) followed by method of application of solution. Although the author, Pandit Todarmalji was a householder, his knowledge of Jainism was so comprehensive and detailed, while retaining focus, that he has been considered to be like an (as opposed to an actual) 'Acharya' (the highest form of ascetic), hence the term 'Acharyakalp'. This book is commended for anybody who wants to critically identify and correct their own short-comings in the field of self-realisation. The material has been translated into English and other modern languages from the original Dhundhari language. The Hindi & Gujarati versions of this shastra also include 4 appendices:- Nature of noble peaceful death (by Pandit Todarmaljis son, Pandit Gumaniramji);
- Rahasya Purna Chitthee by Pandit Todarmalji;
- Parmarth Vachnika by Pandit Banarasidasji &
- Oopaadan Nimmit Chitthee by Pandit Banarasidasji).
The English version only includes the first two appendices.

This is an exceptional creation by Pandit Banaarasidaasji based on Kalashes from Atmakhyaati Tika on Samaysaar by Shrimad Amrutchandra Acharya. It emphasises the significance of self-realisation in a readable and easy to grasp manner. Panditji gained great incentive from Samaysaar Kalash, the commentary on Atmakhyaati Tika by Shree Rajmallji ’Pande’. Pandit Banaarasidaasji’s life was colourful and experienced great highs and lows. A glimpse of the author’s life is also included based on his autobiography

Niyamsar
|
is one of the few works, of this greatest of ascetics, that have survived the passage of time. Niyamsar’s main purpose is to explain, logically, the true path to moksh. It describes, from the pure point of view, Jiv, Ajiv, ShuddhBhaav, Pratikraman, Pratyakhyan, Aalochna, Prayaschit, Samaadhi, Bhakti, Aavashyak, ShuddhUpyog, etc.. To give an idea of the intellect and piety of this great sage, KundKund Acharya, has not just been worshipped by ordinary monks and householders, but also by other Acharyas over the last 2000 years. The commentary on this great work have been written by Muniraj PadmaPrambhmalDhariDev. Other works of KundKund Acharya include Samaysar, Pravachansar, Punch-Aastikaai Sangrah, AshtPahud, etc..

Panchadhyay - purvardh - Dravya Samanya Adhikar |
Translated to gujarati from Devkinandanjikrut SaralArth (Easy meaning) Prabodhini Hindi tika. The name of this shastra is Panchadhyay - Panch (five) Adhyays (parts). This shastra has also been referred to as Granthadiraaj - a great compilation of Jain Siddhants (principles) - with fine detailed logic presented in a question answer format. Unfortunately only 2 parts are available of this magnificient shatra, purvardh (1st half) and uttrardh (2nd half). They containing a total of 1919 shloks (verses). It seems the author wanted to put the core explanations all of jain siddhants into this book. However this seems to have not been completed, perhaps the author came across some calamity and sadly this shastra remains with only 2 adhyays completed.
In the 1st chapter - It raises and answers many questions like:-
- What is a dravya/substance?
- Is the dravya at one with its Guns/Qualities and Paryays/States or separate?
- What are the characheristic of Guns (Qualities) and Paryays (States)?
- What are the definitions of praman, nay, nikshep? What are their natures and characteristics?
- What is the definition of SamyaktPraman-nay and MithyaPraman-nay?
- What is the mutual relationship between nikshep and nay?
- What is the true result/fruit of SamyaktPraman-nay?
- etc.
In the 2nd chapter the following questions aer answered:-
- What is the nature of the soul?
- What is the nature of samyaktva (true) belief?
- What are the 8 aspects of samyaktva (true) belief?
- What are the natures of jivs 5 Opshamic etc. bhavs?
- etc.
So who is the author of this wonderful shastra? Unfortunately we do not know this but if all 5 adhyays had been completed then perhaps we would know more about the author?

- AnubhavAnand (is beautifully written in the Pratamanuyog style but is a great Dravyanuyog shastra).

However this shastra is not about one individual Maha Purush but the eternal soul present/existing within every living being and about the soul that has obtained the eternal soul state i.e. Siddh Bhagwan).
- Sauvaiya-Tika A very small shastra - A Tika on Sauvaiya containing a description of the internal magnificience of the infinite capabilities of the soul.

Pravachansaar |
Pravachansar (Essence of sermons) is one of the few works, of this greatest of ascetics, that have survived the passage of time. To give an idea of the intellect and piety of this great sage, KundKund Acharya, has not just been worshipped by ordinary monks and householders, but also by other Acharyas over the last 2000 years. Commentaries on this great work have been written in Sanskrit by Amrutchandra Acharya (~1000AD) called Tattvapradipika and Jaysen Acharya (1300AD) called Tattparyavrutti. Other works of KundKund Acharya include Niyamsar, Samaysar, Punch-Aastikaai, Ashtpahud, etc..

Samaysaar |
Is one of the few works, of this greatest of ascetics, that have survived the passage of time. Samaysaar’s main purpose is to explain, logically, (1) the characteristics of self and the non-self; (2)method of experiencing the soul. Knowledge of Jainism is not complete without understanding the essence of Samaysaar. To give an idea of the intellect and piety of this great sage, KundKund Acharya, has not just been worshipped by ordinary monks and householders, but also by other Acharyas over the last 2000 years. Commentaries on this great work have been written by Amrutchandra Acharya (~1000AD), Jaysen Acharya (1300AD), with Bhavaarth by Pandit Jaychandji. Pandit Banarasidasji has written Naatak Samaysaar too. Other works of KundKund Acharya include Niyamsar, Pravachansar, Punch-Aastikaai Sangrah, AshtPahud, etc..

Samaysaar Pravachano summarised by Bahenshree Champaben and Pujya Shantaben parts 1-4 |
When Pujya GurudevShree Kanjiswami gave pravachans on Shree Samaysaar for the sixth time these were summarised in text form. The unique aspect of these shastras is that parts 3 onwards were summarised by two samyagdrashti atmas, Pujya Bahenshree Champaben and Pujya Shantaben.
Normally when shastras are sanklit (summarised) the sanklankars writes down the parts they feel are significant and leave out parts that they feel are not necessary. This means that the sanklankar's opinion is present in the text. For this reason aksharas shastras are normally better. But not this time, as the sanklankars of parts 3 onwards are both samyagdrashtis their opinion is one that will guide us towards atmanubhuti. For this reason, these wonderful pravachans should be studied.

Vegetarian food and Jain Conduct |
Vegetarianism covers a wide spectrum of acceptabilities not all of which would be consistent with the principle of non-violence. This is a short and practical introduction to this subject. It also highlights the dangers posed by creeping abandonment of non-violence as people are convinced by arguments (which do not stand up to questioning) of the acceptability of various product such as eggs, honey, alcohol, etc.. Written by Dr Hukamchand Bharill. This can be downloaded to your PC in ZIP (143Mb) file format.

Yogsaar Prabhrut |
Written by Shreemad Amitgati Acharya (in the 11th century AD) for the purpose of experiencing the soul's pure nature, by which happiness is attained. The tool for experiencing the soul is "upyog" (hence the name Yog...). To experience the soul, the distinctive characteristics of:
- the living (jiv) and non-living (ajiv) substances,
- nature of aasrav (including false belief),
- bandh (including difference between knowledge and experience),
- sanvar (samvar),
- nirjara,
- moksh
are described, in addition to:
- - the independence of every substance,
- - essential true conduct (which can only exist where true knowledge and belief exist),
- - true natures of happiness and miseries.
This shastra has 540 Gathas (verses) arranged in 9 Adhikaars (chapters).
